Hello all, I have recently run into trouble with my build. I will start from the beginning. Nearly 3 months ago I was gaming and I noticed that every so often my PC would freeze and my screens would go black and then I would have to forcibly shut down the the PC by turning off the power supply. This continued to happen every so often until one time I try to boot it then my graphics card showed red LEDs near the power plugins.
Since then, I have upgraded to a Corsair HX1200i power supply things were running perfectly fine no random shutdowns no black screens nothing for about 3 months. Then randomly when I was watching a stream on twitch I went to go grab my food came back and my PC was shut down. I tried to turn it on and the PC will not post and I could hear what sounds like humming or vibrations around the CPU area. The debug LEDs are red and yellow. Since I got that, I figured I would try another motherboard. So I did a motherboard swap and I’m still getting the red and yellow LEDs, but on the debug screen provided by the other motherboard I got a hex code 00.
I am wondering what you guys think if I have a possible dead CPU.
