I just got my UK unmarried partner visa approved today (06/05) and I’m still in shock. My biometrics were on 10/04, applied from outside the UK with priority.
What makes this even crazier is that we’ve never lived together( lived in same city for 1 1/2 years) Because of cultural reasons, that just wasn’t possible for us. I got so much negativity when I was researching and asking around people saying it’s impossible, risky, or that I shouldn’t even try.
But something in me just felt like… our relationship is genuine, and I trusted that.
And somehow it worked.
I don’t even know how to process this
Just wanted to share this here in case someone else is in a similar situation and feeling discouraged. It’s not always as impossible as people make it sound
