I’ve been interning at this company for around 3 months now.
I’m not entirely sure what changed or if I did something unintentionally, but I’ve been feeling a bit left out at work. Both the seniors and the other interns seem to avoid interacting with me. The seniors are in their mid-20s, so I don’t think it’s an age gap thing. The interns who joined with me have formed their own group along with the seniors—they hang out, play sports, and even go out for drinks together.
What gets to me more is the small, everyday stuff. For example, when someone calls the group for lunch, they call everyone except me. I genuinely don’t know what I might have done to be left out like this, na apdi enna dhaan da panen… avoid panreenga?
On the work front, I’m doing my part sincerely. I stay focused, complete my tasks properly, and I actually enjoy the work I’m doing. But manasu la etho light a uruthite iruku, whenever they eat lunch as a team but I eat my lunch alone in the lunch hall lol.
