Hi everyone, meet my baby boy Monét. He is a rosepetal male betta, ive had him about 5-6 months and over the past few months i have been paying special attention to his fins as he has been maturing and changed a lot since the day that i got him. Im unsure if his current fin state is normal for a rose tail as they grow up or if the edges are indicating fraying or rot? I can post a pic of him from the day i got him below in the replies. You will see he looks like a completely different fish.

He behaves healthily and is very intelligent and interactive. His only tank mates are shrimp and bladder and ramshorn snails. Parameters ph 6.8 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 10-20ppm. He does not have any sharp objects in his tank, just natural decor like wood and stones and lots of plants and resting spots.

TLDR:
Does anyone that has experience with rose petal bettas know if this is normal for their fins to look like this as they reach maturity? His fins used to be smooth around the edges now they are kind of curly?
