I'm in southern California and we just booked our venue. We're a year and a half away from our wedding day and are beginning to look for a photographer! I'm looking for a dreamy, moody, fantasy type of vibe but I'm open to looking into something else too.
Here's my issue. It has been SO HARD to find any pictures during people's ceremony. My fiance and I want to make sure that the photographer is able to actually take pictures during the ceremony, as that is the main reason everyone is here right? But I have been searching through 20+ photographers on Instagram and TikTok and no one has any pictures during the ceremony, and if they did they weren't great.
I don't know if its a regional thing as I am only 90 minutes from LA but I'm starting to feel kind of discouraged and as though I should just go towards one of the more traditional photographers that I don't really care for.
Does any one have any tips?
