With an astonishing close vote, with Lady Luck having a lead for the first 20 hours, Mad Science just barely managed to win out with a 2-1 vote over Lady Luck. Just one or two people voting differently would have sealed it for either team, so thank you to each and every person who participated.

Congrats to Mad Science for being the strongest team in Hell!

As for the announcement, it's bittersweet: I am going to stop making daily random matchup posts for now. We've done tons of matchups and bar just doing another tournament, I don't think there's a way to really progress from here without repeating a lot of the same points and arguments. Not to mention, I do have a life outside of Reddit and really can't justify spending so much time making these edits and stuff. HOWEVER, it's not the end forever. When Helluva Boss season 3 drops (or maybe for a day or two if a short gives us something good to scale) I will bring back the posts for a bit and maybe do another tournament.

Feel free to leave suggestions for future tournament ideas, whether you think we should do random teams again or a more straight forward style, if you want to see the power level rise with additions like Sera and Adam or lower by getting rid of the Sins and Seraphims entirely, if you think the votes for winners should be done differently, etc. I really appreciate any and all feedback!

Yesterday, although Lady Luck came out with an early lead, it ended up being probably our closest vote ever! The argument between Emily's status or anti-feats mattering more is truly alive and well. But most comments agreed it was close and a few even explicitly called for a draw! If we went just based on the top 3 comments, it would infact be dead even. So, instead, I used the top 4, and High on Life just barely lost with a 2.5-1.5 score.

Yesterday, most comments agreed that, even though Charlie's potential and dynasty may let her surpass the Sins one day, her lack of skill (and aura) would let Satan win unless he just gives up. Yesterday, though both sides had supporters, it was pretty one-sided in the end with most agreeing that even if Lucifer's power eclipsed the competition, his limitation being unable to harm Sinners let Niffty dominate the competition.
