I picked up this 1997 Audiovox AVT-975 portable TV set for $10 about a month ago and have been gradually nursing it back to life, but for reason it simply will not display in color. This is a color set; the individual phosphor lines are visible when turned off, and the settings display in color. However, any input going in displays in black and white, whether through composite or coax. This is not an issue with neither the cables nor the input devices, as I have tested them on a flatscreen via the same cables and they displayed in color. I figured I would post this here to see if anyone knows what has gone wrong and how potentially I could fix it? TIA.
