I've had an issue with my computer with two different graphics cards. The first card (msi rx 5700 evoke oc) started crashing during games. The screen goes black with the audio looping in the background and the fans on the gpu go full speed. I would hard restart my computer to get it working again. Over the course of a month or so the frequency of the crashes increased. Eventually it would crash just playing youtube videos on firefox a few minutes after turning it on. I tried a bunch of different fixs (memory tests, updating/reinstalling drivers, reseating gpu and ram, replacing heat paste, cleaning case). I took it to a shop and they told me it was a hardware problem and my gpu wasn't good anymore so i bought a new card. The new card (nvidia geforce rtx 2070 super) worked great for almost a year but is now having very similar problems to the last one. It started out just crashing during games when it demanded more gpu usage and has started crashing for less and less intensive usages. It is now crashing when i watch youtube in firefox again after just starting the computer. The screen goes black (only when firefox or a game is running) and the fans on the gpu go to full speed. I can hear the audio still playing and can use my keyboard. Resetting the graphics drivers with shortcuts doesnt cause video to come back and ive updated drivers. Not sure what to do going forward as it feels like something is causing the gpu to degrade or something. Is it a psu or motherboard problem? What diagnostic steps should i take next?

These are my specs

ryzen 5 3600 cpu, asrock b450m pro4 micro atx am4 motherboard, t-force vulcan z 16 gb ram, nvidia geforce rtx 2070 super gpu, corsair vs650 (2018) psu
