I left my Puraclenz Core 750 running on auto in the bedroom all night and all day today. I just got it a week ago, so the filter is new. Now the air in my bedroom smells like nail polish. Is the air purifier emitting something toxic? I honestly have no idea how these things work & I’ve read that somehow certain ones can emit toxic chemicals?

Update: okay, I feel like a complete idiot. There were a few orange peels and an apple core in the trash can next to the bed.. I guess they’ve been there a few days & I’m thinking that’s the smell. Sorry to waste everyone’s time.

My 16yr old cat pees everywhere now. She also uses her litter box, but she’s been peeing randomly through the house for several months now. She also has diarrhea a lot. She always uses the litter box to poop, so I’m not sure why she’s peeing everywhere..
I’ve been trying to convince my boyfriend we need to take her to the vet, but he keeps putting it off for financial reasons. She eats “sensitive stomach” cat food & has a continuous water fountain with clean, filtered water. What could be going on?
