Best way to spray color shift paints
I’ve been testing SMS color shift abyss & Splash Paints midnight purple 3 for a few weeks now. I have no experience spraying these types of paints I do not know how much paint is enough and the techniques to properly spray these paints. Do I mist each coat or light coat, medium coat, then a wet coat.
I tried spraying over a white & chrome base and I noticed that there are spots that do not have paint. These paints look a lot better with a black base but my issue is that my testers come out on the darker side and I am having trouble getting the color to pop out.
I’ve been spraying with my Iwata revolution. Using 15psi for the SMS paint & 25-30psi with the Splash paints. How do you guys go about spraying these paints?
