A few weeks ago, I received a BMS_a079 error message on my 2021 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range. Before bringing it in for service, Tesla messaged me that my new high voltage battery is in transit. Repairs were made same day and received a message that my vehicle is ready for pick up. I noticed on my Tesla app that my vehicle is listed as a Model 3 Mid Range and no longer Standard Range. My old battery used to have a range of around 200 miles at 80% and now my range is around 261 miles at 80%. Is this normal for a battery upgrade on the 2021 Standard Range or did they accidentally install a better battery in my Tesla?
