Hi all just looking for an answer. I'll go through my timeline first.

1/12/25 I made my claim for PIP

Eventually managed the challenging task of fullly comlpeting it and had my sister post the PIP2 form on around 10/1/26.

13/01/26 - Received a txt from DfCbenefits informing me they received my form.

14/1/26 - Received a text from PIP saying "This is a message from HAAS 'We'll be handing your PIP claim'"

14/02/26 - Text from DfCbenefits saying a health professional is looking at my claim.

Around 15th April a call from my local GP practices secretary that a GP wanted to speak with me.

22/04/26 - GP call me and inform that the call is about contact they received that I recently made a claim for PIP and that it was about "Due Diligence" rather than evidence gathering due to concern about Dysphagia (That I never had documented because of my Social anxiety, agorophobia, anthropophobia - so I never leave the house unless it's 100% absolutely necessary and only if accompanied). He prescribed me some Diazepam & Omeprazole and I got my sister to pick it up an hour after the call.

Today 5/5/26 I have received a message from DfCbenfeits that "We have received the written report from your PIP assessment. We will write to you once we've made a decision on your PIP. You should hear from us within 8 weeks".

My question is if I have avoided any verbal (apart from the GP telephone call) assessment from PIP that I have been absolutely dreading and fearful of; as I'd suffer a lot of distress and discomfort during the call and probably freeze up during being questioned.

At this point I don't care about being awarded and I know it's not guaranteed; just hoping I have avoided a phone assessment and only got a paper based decision.

Thanks for reading.
