When I was younger, I always got mad when the second male lead didn’t get chosen. But now I realize they’re often just “nice guys” who move too slowly. In K-dramas with the marriage-of-convenience trope, the second guy who likes the girl always gets upset when she chooses to marry the male lead—but they take way too long to make a move. They just sit there and hurt themselves by staying in the friend zone.

I think the show My First First Love is so good because it explores the perspective of the “secondary lead” being too slow and losing the girl in the first season. I haven’t watched the second season, but I find that aspect really endearing.

my sim from the future built an Simbot and now he can talk to his old roomates with the holographic chip (this is an hologram not ghost)

For context, I’m doing the Sims 3 Lunar Legacy, and my founder fell in love with Harkin Shire from the future. He moved in, and now they’re engaged. He’s more outgoing than her and wanted a bachelor party, so I had them return to the future so he could have the party with his old roommates and some new descendants he met. The private dancer and bartender were SimBots, which I found to be a really neat detail. The challenge doesn’t use Into the Future, but I think the pack fits this generation.
