For those with disappearing Bluetooth in Windows 11
Hi! I am not tech savvy at all but I just found out a solution to my bluetooth woes. Intermittently my bluetooth has been disappearing for over a year now. Every time I would have to uninstall the driver and reboot my laptop and it would pop back up. Today I was clicking through options and did the following, and for once I didn't have to reboot or uninstall anything, it just popped back up and I was able to connect my headphones. Hopefully it's a permanent fix but I'll leave an update if it happens again. What I did was:
Open device manager, locate the bluetooth driver. Find the Realtek Adapter, right click it and click properties. Go to the “power management” tab and make sure the “allow computer to turn off this device to save power” box is unchecked.
I hope this helps others, since I couldn't figure it out for such a long time.
