Hello! This is my first time doing something like this but I’m desperate and I have no money and I’m honestly a bit clueless as to what to do. This is Beck. He’s a Belgian Malinois mixed with German Shepard. I got him from my girlfriend’s family before they had to move. He grew up in an apartment before I got him, and now he’s living the spoiled life at my house. He’s about a year and a half years old, and he has little recall and a tendency to be aggressive towards strangers, even if they’re just like walking by or he just sees them. He tends to try to escape my yard a lot and it just seems like I’m not doing enough for him. I try to make sure he plays, I unfortunately am not the most active person but I do want to start getting into it, but I feel like I can’t take him with me on walks as he is 80 lbs and pulls like a mf. I wish I could just get him to listen to me better and I would love to start going on walks with him but it’s hard. I’ve thought about taking him on trails where no one else is to see if that helps but I’m usually not able to. Honestly I just need advice on ways to help him and ways to not have crippling anxiety about the day he actually bites someone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
