IISC students here, how to get into a PhD program in IISC ? which factors should I focus on to maximize the chances of getting shortlisted? I am a Master's graduate in Mathematics so I am looking for PhD positions in the same.
I am 26(F) Master's graduate in Mathematics from a reputed institute. I wanted to do PhD but have cgpa 6.21 and I am from general category which means I don't satisfy the minimum cgpa criteria of most of the institutes in India.
I have qualified GATE MA and DA this year but still have no courage to apply for PhDs in India as I believe that I will not be Shortlisted.
I need a genuine advice regarding this matter. Should I leave academia or there is still something to start over again.
(P.S. - I will not mind doing another Masters and this time I will give my 100% to have great academic performance)
