I send little coupon cards out with my orders (they're business cards with a coupon code printed on them). Unfortunately, I've had maybe 10+ customers in the last few months report that they can't figure out how to apply the coupon code. (The people who message me about this are usually regular customers who have placed several orders from my store, so I assume a *lot* of customers are having this problem, but that only my regular customers are actually bothering to message me about it.)
Has anyone else had trouble lately with coupon codes? I'm wondering whether Etsy may be removing or hiding the feature for some buyers. It still appears just fine for me, but I'm wondering whether it's missing for other people? Or whether it doesn't work on the app or something?
This is where it appears for me. Does it appear in a different spot for you guys? Some customers are able to find it once I send this screenshot, but others report that they still don't see it.
I know I could set up a "Thank you offer" that would automatically send my discount to repeat customers. But I see that the "Thank you offer" always lasts for a whole year, with no way to change the duration, and that it gets sent to all customers. That's a little too much for me -- my coupon codes last for 3 or 4 months (I make a new one each month), and I only send them out with orders over $10. (Approximately 40% of my sales go to repeat customers, usually ones who have visited my shop sometime in the last year, so I wanted to use the coupons to specially thank customers who visit even more frequently.)
Anyway, I'd be really interested to hear whether anyone else is having this issue!
