6 Weeks Left Until My NCLEX-PN & Feeling Overwhelmed — Is Saunders Enough or Should I Get UWorld/Archer/Bootcamp?
Hi everyone. I’m currently studying for my NCLEX-PN, and honestly, I feel all over the place right now. I’ve been using the Saunders Comprehensive Review, 9th Edition (the yellow book), and I’m trying my best to trust the process, but I’m starting to panic a little. I have 6 weeks and 6 days left until my exam, and I keep questioning whether what I’m doing is enough.
Right now, Saunders is really my main resource because I don’t have access to a lot financially. I keep seeing people talk about UWorld, Archer Review, and NCLEX Bootcamp, and it’s making me feel like maybe I’m falling behind or missing something important. At the same time, I know Saunders is supposed to be a strong content review book, especially for building foundations, but I don’t know if it’s enough by itself for NCLEX-style questions and critical thinking.
I think part of my problem is that I’m overwhelmed by everyone’s different opinions online. One person says Saunders is enough. Another says you NEED UWorld. Then someone else says Archer is more realistic. Then Bootcamp gets mentioned for case studies. It’s hard not to compare myself to people who seem way more prepared or who can afford multiple resources.
I’m trying to stay disciplined and consistent, but mentally I feel anxious because I don’t have a perfect study setup or unlimited resources. I’m just trying to make the most of what I have. My biggest goal right now is to pass safely and confidently the first time.
For those who passed the NCLEX-PN:
Was Saunders enough for you?
If you had to choose ONLY one extra resource, would you pick UWorld, Archer, or Bootcamp?
Which one helped most with prioritization, SATA, and case studies?
How did you organize your studying in the last 6 weeks without burning out?
Is it normal to feel this scattered before the exam?
I’d really appreciate honest advice, encouragement, or realistic study tips from anyone who’s been in this position before. I’m trying not to let fear take over, but some days it’s hard.
