Hi, 1st year BSIT student and I'm almost done with my 2nd sem. But so far, it feels kinda lonely. Almost no one seems to be passionate about the major subjects. Most of my classmates are just forcing themselves into this program, just in for a certificate, or too grade conscious to find it fun. It's not like I know what's actually in their hearts and minds. I'm also fortunate to not be in their situations that I can't ever imagine so it's not like I'm disgusted or annoyed. In fact, I respect their grind and resolve. But yeah, still feels lonely. Not saying na sobrang passionate ako compared sa lahat or that this might make me stop pursuing this program because I could never do that. Just can't help but let out a heavy sigh sometimes, y'know?
Staying positive though. May 3 years pa naman ako. I might meet people who will motivate me to exert all the effort I can.
