Considering a 3 - tell me why I should/shouldn't
I currently drive a 2013 Nissan Xterra, that is paid off and has 158k miles. Gas mileage is about 15 miles to the gallon I think.
Trade-in value is around $3,000.
Looking at a Tesla Model 3, And with a 4,000-5,000 down payment (plus the trade-in), this is what I've come up with for how much more it would cost per month. I'm looking in the range of $22,000 to $27,000
Thoughts?
EDIT: Progressive quoted me this today. However, I usually get lower premiums every 6 months when I switch companies. It's annoying asf. So I'm assuming that is for the first 6 months, and then it will be increased, and then I switch haha
I'm in Idaho
My buddy says he pays $25 a month for home charging. He also said that his insurance didn't increase much from a Tahoe.
The maintenance is for things like tires, wiper replacement. Just the average per month.
