How to try and match this red oak?

How to try and match this red oak?

We tore up tile in the kitchen and the kitchenette (what you see) and will replace with new / similar 5/16" 2 inch red oak. Then we will have to stain it to try and match it. How? Is there a special type of stain to use? Do I try and take a sample to sherwin williams to match? Any tips on doing this?
