The invasion of lapetus, also known as the road to war Campaign, and lapetusian Defensive War of 1946 (1st of June – 28th of June 1946), was a joint attack on the Grand Republic of lapetus by the the Ouranosian aftokratoría which marked one of the major beginnings of the dead men’s war.
The ouranosian invasion was preceded by the tieritus crisis and began on the 7th of June in 1946.
The campaign ended on the 28th of June with ouranos taking the capital of lapeata then getting attacked by major lapetusian allies. The aim of the invasion was to disestablish lapetus as a country that was considered not..as advanced as the others and were commonly called stupid, with its citizens destined for extermination. Ouranosian forces invaded lapetus from the south, and south east. As ouranosian forces advanced, lapetusian forces withdrew from their post to close to the ouranosian–Iapetusian border to more established defense lines to the east. After the late-lapetusian defeat in the Battle of marvoia, the ouranosian’s gained an undisputed advantage.
Iapetusian forces then withdrew to the northeast near the criusi sea where they prepared for a long defence of a port city and awaited expected support and relief from Oceanus and the hyperion union.
On June 28th, based on their long old alliance agreements with lapetus, the Hyperion union and Oceanus declared war on ouranos; in the end their aid to Iapetus was very limited. Oceanus invaded a small part of ouranos in the titus Offensive, and the lapetusian army was effectively defeated even before the hyperian oversea support Force could be transported to lapetus dealing with blockaids.
(Sure it lasted 3 weeks but it was because of terrible communication outdated tatics and they simply had bad leadership)
