Layering extremely masculine with feminine.
I’m curious if this is a known the fragrance community?
I have this garbage (but astoundingly beast mode) fragrance called Pheral Backstage pass. One of those scam Pheromone colognes. The company has since gone defunct so I can’t relay the notes, but it’s very woody, very leathery and synthetic smelling. Its lasts on skin for more than 24 hours. It’s a hoss of a fragrance.
I also have some Kenneth Cole New York. It’s a discontinued fragrance from 2002. Think Spicy Mandarin. It smells exactly like you’d imagine a professional woman smelling like in 1999.
I layered them today, it an attempt to tone down the cologne, and honestly, I was just screwing around, but man oh man. It smells incredible and is going strong on skin for 8 hours now.
Is this a thing in the fragrance community? Layering extremely masculine fragrances with feminine or unisex fragrances?
