We were told shih-tzu/chihuahua when we adopted her, not from a certified breeder, but my mom’s shih-chi looks nothing like mine - no long hair, no double coat, round and stocky.
Mine is easily 10+ lbs and the hair around her booty sways like linen pants when she walks.
