Hello,

I don't know what to do for my Monstera and help her get in a good shape again.

To give you the details : I've had the plant for 5 years now, in the past 18months, the plant did 3 house movings (from my appartement -> (1) to a friend's flat where she got a LOT of direct sun (that's why some leafs burnt) -> (2) back to my appartement -> (3) my new place after a 15hours drive (I damaged 2 or 3 branches, still on and healthy though). My new flat has good lighting but the plant doesn't stand in front of a window so it doesn't get direct light. It stands in a Ø30cm pot now, my friend repotted it 1 year ago, I didn't checked the roots yet but I don't think the pot is fully filled with roots, my though is I can put new soil in the process to maintain it. Or you would go all-in with a new and bigger pot ? (what size ?)

My questions for you are :

- I have 3 main stems you can see in the bottom, they are kinda thin and branches are 5~10cm apart. Would you keep the 3 together in the same pot ? It does the bushy aspect I like of the Monstera, but is it really better for growing the plant ? Also, that may complicate to maintain the plant vertical (now it's leaning forward because of the weight and gravity ^^)

- I bought 2 Coco Core Moss Pole of 80cm each you can stack one on top of the other, so it gives me a 160cm pole to use. The one on the picutre is ~100cm. I think I need to remove the 100cm (and the bambou sticks as well) and use only the 160cm one, do you think it will stand still with the 3 Monstera stems attached on it ? not too heavy ?

- Extreme/Other scenario : would you cut the plant ? where and why ? ^^' As you can see in the pictures, the bottom of the plant is FULL of leafs, and the high part has way less leafs, they are small and no fenestrations (because of the house movings also, different conditions and lighting) (only 2 fenestration, instead of 7~10 on the BIG leafs). I was thinking mayve a cut and then propagating in water+perlite to put in soil again in the future.

I'll take ALL you advices please, I was really into Plants, growing, cuttings etc... 3 or 4 years ago, I kind of let it on the side for some times and I want to get back on it, "save" my loved Monstera and AFTER THAT buying new plants and have fun taking care of them, as I used to do before !!

(sorry English isn't my main language so there may be some mistakes in my sentences !)

Hello Team,

Yesterday I did my first ever Subathon to celebrate my 1st Year as an Affiliate Streamer and ...

I'm a bit disappointed. And maybe I'm a spoiled baby, you'll tell me 😅

For a "Special stream" and after one year streaming (started 1st March 2025), trying to meet streamers, get involved in their chat, posting A LOT of quality videos on IG/TikTok/YT Shorts, I'm disappointed because this Subathon didn't attract any new people and THAT SUCKS.

How can you explain that I couldn't get a single follower on that stream ? The Twitch algorithm is THAT bad ??? Nobody was interested in my stream ? The "Subathon Effect" doesn't work anymore ?

(the 1 Follower you see on the photo is after I Raided, one viewer from the channel I raided followed me)

I had 132 unique viewers (on a 12h stream) instead of ~100 on a 4h/5h stream I usually do. That's bad.

During this stream there was a Subathon Widget on screen, the goals to achieve, it was obvious I was going for a Subathon and a pinned comment in my Chat for the rules (1 follow = +1 min / 1 Sub = +5 min etc...)

I'm a bit disappointed and sad because if this kind of special day doesn't attract more people, I fear to be stuck at my average 4-5 viewers and never grow that much more... :/

And finally I'm also a bit bitter because I set a minimum duration of 10hours of this stream, and the follows/subs/bits/raid added time one the clock. It lasted 12hours, my viewership isn't really into SubGifting I understand that but still I assumed the support would be a bit bigger 🫤 (the subgifts and bits were mostly from 3 generous people, and the rest did not participate). Maybe I'm an a**hole for thinking that way. But if I set the time of stream at 4hours, it would have lasted 6 hours and ciao bye bye...

Thank you, I'll read you all.

Don't insult me I'm here to debate, and maybe you'll just cheer me up and it'll be OK 😅
