Hey all,
got into EDH through a couple of friends of mine and been having loads of fun testing out some precons. Was a little scared of building my own deck at first, but got High perfect morcant during lorwyn eclipsed prerelease and she felt like a nice first commander to get my first experience with deckbuilding.
I have to say I had a lot of trouble building this deck, just because there's so many cards to pick from, it gets kind of overwhelming. I tried sticking to a budget of €100 (got a little over but I'm happy with that) and got what I think is a pretty good first draft of my deck. I wanted to focus on -1/-1 counters through elf token creation, with a little proliferate and poison counters thrown in the mix here and there.
Can anyone tell me if I made any big mistakes while making this deck or if there are ways I can improve this deck without blowing up the budget for this deck even more? I'd really appreciate your input as I'd love to learn how to streamline the process and become more efficient in making decks.
It took me weeks of taking out cards, putting them back in, Switching out others,etc which you can probably tell from the HUGE maybeboard next to the deck haha.
