I installed ball joints on my 91 mr2, my knuckle wasnt attached to anything except the ball joint and the ball joint was already connected onto the control arm. The knuckle toppled over while I was trying to attach it to my coilover and all of the weight went onto my ball joint, so the ball joint was at an aggressive angle and the weight of the knuckle was on it while hanging on the control arm.
My question is should the ball joint still be good? It feels more loose than the other side, the suspension is all installed now but I havent driven it yet, im waiting for an alignment from installing other things. It looks fine after installing the rest of the suspension, no tears in the rubber or anything
Ive been considering buying another new ball joint, but not sure if I need to
