Module: Scene Elevation Region (2.5D Parallax)

Demo

With this module you can define regions with an elevation behavior that can do multiple kinds of elevation/parallax effects. Comes with a bunch of presets, and allows to tune settings and perspective to suit different kinds of maps.

- Have not tested it with levels but it is mostly intended to work in single level open space maps with elevation.

- Have different kinds of edge transition to paint the side walls.

- Full token occlusion, scaling, auto elevation adjustment (can be disabled per region)

- Comes with its own menu to easily draw regions with the behavior attached

List of modes:

- 2.5D Parallax
- Mouse Based Parallax
- Camera Drift Parallax
- Lift + Responsive Shadow (not 3D shadow)

I mostly test on Draw Steel system where the map grid length is 1 square. You can alter the elevation scale from 5 to 1 to hopefully get the same effect for 5 units/grid systems.

Draw Steel - Hideout handles most downtime activities:

  • Create and manage followers. Followers are a new actor type that have skills, languages, characteristics. Quickly create Artisan and Sage type followers with Create Follower dialog.
  • Project Board: Add / Track / Progress Downtime Projects, Supports project events, automated project event triggers/rolls, matching the system roll tables with official event trigger rules (milestone, 1d6 etc.). Drag and drop party members and followers into a project's contributors area to roll for that project. Completed crafting projects creates the crafted treasure and adds it to the Party Stash. You can enable individual roll in settings to allow players roll individually.
  • Archives: Add / Manage Project Sources, let players start crafting projects from the list of unlocked project sources. Track and manage Project Prerequisites (materials)
  • Party Stash: Store / Transfer treasures. A shared inventory space for the party. Simply drag and drop treasures into Party Stash to your character sheet. (or vice versa)

Director Tools:

  • Project Browser: Browse system compendium projects with filters; add them to party Project Board.
  • Treasure Browser: Browser system compendium treasures with filters; add them to Archives (as recipe) to Party Stash or as a Crafting Project. Support third party compendiums.

Future:

  • Looking into ways to handle the fishing project with a mini game.
