Im wondering if this circular part on top is a root? And if so, should I maybe repot the plant? Its also leaning quite heavily so I can’t give it a good support for now. Cheers

Hey guys, its my first time ever repotting a plant and I think I ran into a slight issue.

The root ball of my cactus was extremely dense so I needed a bunch if force to loosen it all up a bit.

Im not sure how much more I should do as I don’t wanna damage the roots too much. For now I’ve left it at that and waiting with putting it into the new pot.

Planning on putting it in a 2cm bigger pot. Ofc with drainage hole. And a roughly 50/50 pumice-succulent soil mix. Maybe a slightly higher pumice part

Any advice?

Hey, new plant parent here. I got this cactus a few weeks ago and I feel like it’s pot is too small. The soil also feels super hard and compacted. Do you guys think I should repot? If so, any tips? Thanks
