Why isn’t this seller responding after I’ve already purchased the item?
I’ve been on Mercari for a while, completely as a buyer. I purchased this item yesterday after the seller countered an offer I made. All I asked was if this item was in brand new condition or if it is in Like New condition. I wasn’t rushing the seller to ship, or being a jerkoff. The description is just copied and pasted from the manufacturer’s site with no info about this particular item. I do see where it’s “New”, but I really just want to know if it’s sealed. That’s all. I made an offer and it was countered within minutes, so the seller’s account is very much alive. But why wouldn’t they respond to a simple question just to be friendly? I’m only asking because I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. They have 15 five star reviews as a seller and a buyer, so I’m really just wondering… Is the app full of bugs from a seller standpoint? Would there be another reason?
