My drivers license is stuck I have a pending legal presence since I received a notice of cancellation and went to DMV then signed DHS authorization, It’s been 5 weeks now.
Is it possible to not continue anymore or cancel my REAL ID pending application and switch to AB-60 license? If so, what should I do?
So I received a REAL ID cancellation before and went to DMV 5 weeks ago then surrender my State REAL ID then signed a DHS authorization for legal presence and change the address of my AB-60 drivers license then ask for a replacement card. I did this the same day together then it’s been 5 weeks now but I didn’t receive yet my AB-60 DL then I message Chat live in DMV website, they told me that my DL has pending because legal presence but this is AB-60 DL it’s supposed to be my state ID to be pending.
Can I still cancel my REAL ID application in DMV office then just received or continue the AB-60 license? I’m just scared to lose my AB-60 license.
I received a notice of REAL ID cancellation before and went to DMV 4weeks ago to surrender my California real ID which I have before then they give me a DHS authorization to sign and I did signed on it. Then I also change my address of my AB-60 license at the same time and request a new card but it’s been 4 weeks now I didn’t receive any new card from DMV.
I’m expecting to have a denial of my DHS authorization because I already overstayed my visa.
The thing is does my AB-60 license new card affected by the DHS authorization? Am I still going to get the new card before the temporary license expires? I’m just scared of losing my driver’s license.
