Hi my orthopedic surgeon said that my meniscus is torn and he said there is about an 80% chance my acl and mcl are also torn i am waiting on an mri and I have been for 2 weeks they had to remove about 50ccs of blood from my knee and it has already re filled. I got the injury when I was cleaning my bathroom my leg went out 40 degrees to the left its my left leg I heard a loud pop and while I was on the floor separately, my knee dislocated three separate times and it made a quieter pop so I can disqualify that as the sound. I've had quite a few physical injuries, but I can easily say that this is the most painful injury ive had. Dr said it may be more painful for me because of my height and weight im 6 foot 3 and 260 pounds. Im 17 so im hoping I heal well with or without surgery I can walk without crutches but I was advised not to and It is extremely painful so I haven't been my knee is very weak and dislocated and gives out ive almost re created the injury 5 times any help or advice is appreciated even if its input on what type of injury you think it is. Also my dr was hoping since he put in the medical request as stat thati would have it within 2 days but its taking so long im already starting to heal.
