After a horrible day a couple of my friends are concerned my plurality may not be plurality and may just be a bad bad and unhealthy coping mechanism or something? It’s a lot I don’t want to get into.

In my moment of stress, I was ready to throw the possibility of my plurality away. I still want to. It’s caused a lot of stressful things and I’m so done honestly.

But I think I’m ready to tell my therapist. After a read through of the DSM again, since it’s been a while, I might fit enough boxes for a diagnosis of some kind. I’m not sure it’s DID, OSDD, or something else. But I think I’d fit a box of some kind.

Regardless, it’s time for me to figure this out for certain. I know a lot of medical professionals can be ignorant, but I think it’d still make me feel better to hear from a professional, even if it’s a bad answer or not.

So the main question is:

Besides making note of things in the dsm that match up to me, is there anything else I should make note of to tell my therapist next week?

Feel free to ask questions if there’s any specifics needed.
