Gree air con running loud/full ball constantly in Auto mode

Hoping someone with HVAC experience might have some insight.

We have two of the exact same air conditioner models (installed early 2025) in our house. One behaves normally it ramps up and down, quietens once temperature is reached, and maintains room temp properly.

The other has had ongoing issues since installation.

The company has already been out 4 times and has moved/replaced the sensor twice. Since moving the sensor, the temperature control has definitely improved. It’s not perfect, but much better than before.

Originally:
- In winter, set to 25°C heat/auto, the room would become excessively hot (sometimes reading 32°C).
- In summer, set to 23°C cool/auto, the room could get down to 19°C and still continue blasting cold air.

So the sensor relocation seems to have partly helped that side of things.

However, the unit still runs “full ball” almost constantly in Auto mode. It’s loud, stays on high fan far longer than expected, and doesn’t seem to ramp down naturally like the identical unit in the other room.

What’s confusing is:
- This problematic unit is actually in the smaller room.
- The identical unit nearby ramps up and down smoothly and becomes much quieter once temp is reached.
- This one just seems aggressive all the time.

Has anyone seen this before with split systems?
Could this still point to:
- another sensor issue,
- control board/PCB issue,
- installation setup problem,
- fan calibration/settings,
- or is this sometimes just how certain faulty units behave?

Would appreciate any thoughts from installers or techs.
