I bought my Tesla last year. My account filed my taxes and we couldn't submit the $7,500 credit since Tesla didn't submit my Time of Sale Report to IRS website. At the time I figured I was going to be over in terms of AGI. My wife decided to quit her job so I fell under the AGI and I qualify now for the $7500. I reached out to Tesla and they say they can't go in and report after the fact. I read that Tesla can report after the fact so I can claim the credit. I would have to file an ammended return at this point. Has anyone been able to get Tesla to recored it after the sale? If so, what did you do? Go see them in person?
