Hey guys don’t work for lowes if you’re pregnant!
Before you read, think about what I CAN or SHOULD do in this situation. TIA!
So basically my ASM(i’m a Head cashier) for the last 2 weeks said i had been doing great and she was confident in me for promotion, right? Awesome. Cool.
So a couple weeks ago I told her about an issue regarding another head cash. She says I’m starting drama! When it’s the other HC starting the drama, spreading rumors about me, telling people she doesn’t like me, etc. Fast forward this week I tell her about the leave i put in and told her I’m pregnant. Big mistake. She all of a sudden has issues with how and when and what I do (like having my cashier do trash for me when I’m not feeling great, having my EXTRA cashier do drinks, snacks, breaks, ETC) you name it, it’s an issue. WHEN IT WAS NOT BEFORE I TOLD HER IM PREGNANT. so she tells my FEDS im just making them do my tasks and Im not doing my job.
Is this a discriminatory situation that I can complain about to higher ups? My SM won’t do anything because I have had issues with this lady for almost a year and they “had a talk” with her but it was she said-she said and nothing came of it. I cannot get a different job because of my maternity leave, I would be screwed without that but it seems she’s trying to get me in trouble or fired like we’re in elementary tattling.
