I’m currently in grade 11. My first semester grades were: Statistic 12: 86%, Psychology 11: 98%, Pre-Calc 11(honours class, idk if that matters): 94%, and English 11: 90%. Second semester grades so far are: Contemporary indigenous studies: 86%, Physics 11: 97%, Anatomy 12: 93%, Chemistry 11: 81% and AP statistics(continued extension from last semester but it could as a new course): 87%. I feel like my grades are absolutely all over the place because if I have a teacher that I do well with I can do really good, but then there are some teachers that I genuinely can’t figure out how to learn from.

I don’t know how much outside of school activities would impact these chances but it they do, I play a sport both on my school team and on a club team, and I was a captain grade 10 and 11 for my school team. I also have an okay amount of volunteering hours outside of school, a little over 250 hours since the beginning of high school mainly consisted of working with kids at summer coach’s or coaching teams, or at long term care centres. I also done some math competitions and done descent on most.

The programs I want to get into:

  1. UVic Kinesiology

  2. UBC or SFU kinesiology

  3. UofA, UofT or similar schools(outside of BC) kinesiology

  4. Health science or similar at any BC school(more of a fallback option I guess)

What are the chances I get into these programs given the grades and extracurricular I have. I’m really hoping I get into a kinesiology program or that I have a decent chance of getting into one.
