One thing I’m focusing on at the moment is the fact that Perez specifically mentioned when being asked about the squad that we have the most valuable squad in the world. We saw reports on this a couple of weeks ago that the board and particularly Perez believe that we don’t need a major overhaul and that the team is just going through a rough period. I think this basically confirms it unfortunately.

We also haven’t hear any news about any signings in a while, no contacts no nothing. It’s going to be a long couple of years

Is this just the state of our football club for the foreseeable future, because if any of you think either of those 2 are leaving in the next 10 years then I have a bridge to sell you.

At the start of the season when Mbappe was on his Bdor run people were demanding Vini left now that vini has had a good run of form my entire feed is being spammed with anti Mbappe propganda if this is my life for the next 10 years genuinely we could see see this club regress to new lows.

I’ve said this time and time again football is an entertainment industry how long are we going to have to put up with 2 1 or 1 0 park the bus wins at our own stadium in front of our own fans. Mourinho is only going to add to that and while every other team (apart from Arsenal) gets to watch their club choke teams out for 90 minutes and genuinely embarrass teams. Not us, doesn’t matter if it’s Man City or deportivo alaves we will park the bus.

Mourinho is the same person who has famously been quoted for park the plane. The same individual who took inter Milan to a champions league final beating Barcelona with 25% possession. The immediate counter argument is well he won but I’ve seen it before we’ve all watched this club grind through champions leagues through just pure defensive ability im tired I truly am I haven’t seen us actually choke out a team in so long if not ever.

I’m tired man I really am please if there’s any sense can we please actually build a football club that doesn’t just get results but actually brings a joy to all of our faces to watch.
