Hey all, I've been working on this for a while. I mostly play standard Brawl on arena, because it's cheaper for me and I don't run into some of that crazy stuff you see in regular brawl.

So here's the game plan: Ramp and stall, then bust out a big etb and either make some token copies of it or exile/return it.

I especially like how flexible it plays - I can make a bunch of tokens with Roxanne and ping/ramp heavily off of that. I can put out Terror of the Peaks, then put out a couple token copies of him. I can swarm the board with Gruff Triplets, cheat out a ton of stuff with the vivid or discover ETBs, etc.

I have a lot of multipurpose stuff like White Auracite and Buried in the Garden that are both ramp and removal. Having your mana tied to a valuable removal can have some drawbacks though. The exile/return instants are great for protection and repeating an etb.

I've tried more small treasure token creators and things like that, but have found the mana dorks to be more reliable in getting me to my combos.

I've tried Jolly Balloon Man and the Neutrinos, and they synergize well but are a little slow and vulnerable to removal.

Honestly, Ghired can be useful, but the deck can do the thing it's supposed to do even if he never hits the board. I'd be open to another commander in the same colors.

I think currently my biggest issue is reliable draw. If my first combo attempt goes poorly, I run out of gas. I've been experimenting with a few artifacts and enchantments that allow me to refill on command.

I can probably cut a land and maybe some of the ramp - it's been a little too often that I find myself with all the mana in the world and nothing to spend it on.
