My client is building an NDT-specific platform for collecting inspection data, sending for approvals, and generating client-ready PDF reports.
They’re extremely customer oriented and would like to engage with NDT professionals and gather the right feedback. Currently, the platform is a desktop + mobile companion with these features:
Form building:
- Let’s you scan your current forms so they can be used directly in the app.
- Choose from pre-built templates (API 653, etc)
- Assign approval stages + triggers (I.e. email bob when I submit this report) for different inspection types.
- Define custom logic and code for calculations
Inspection data:
- Collection inspection information on the app
- Attach photos
- Use voice to narrate inspections
- Geo-tagged location history, current location is saved when a report is saved so there’s a history of actions.
- Digitally sign inspections
Reporting:
- Dashboard view with configurable KPI’s unique to each project
- Export complete, client ready PDF’s
Company organization:
- Add your customers
- Add their projects
- Manage permissions / roles
AI + advanced Features:
- Generate specific forms, like an API 653 or whatever you need
- Executive summaries on reports to summarize its content ( of course, you can edit as needed)
- Generate formulas for calculations, can also do this manually)
- Conditional logic for tables and cross-referencing values across the form
There’s quite a bit built into the backend and it’s pretty wild. If you’re interested in helping you can get the beta for free and all feedback is welcome.
