condom broke during ovulation
hi! this is my first time ever writing a post on reddit but anxiety has been eating me away.
for starters, i’ve never had to take an EC pill nor am i on birth control, me and my boyfriend have always used condoms and never had a problem with it.
my cycles have always been regular, between 26/28 days.
so what happened is this:
- 5 days after my period ended - day 10 of my cycle- me and my boyfriend had sex but he came on my pubic area, not inside me. i checked my flo app and it said i was in my ovulation phase, therefore i decided to get a plan b pill and i took it around 7 hours after the incident.
- 3 days later so day 13 of my cycle (peak ovulation day as per the flo app) we had protected sex but then as he was pulling out we noticed that the condom was broken. so we rushed to the pharmacy and took Ellaone less than 1 hour after incident.
4 days after the Plan B pill i started having withdrawal bleeding and it lasted for 6 days.
my period is due next week.
what are my chances of getting pregnant?
i suppose that since i took the plan B pill before ovulation actually happened, i might have disrupted the entire ovulation process, and by taking Ellaone after few days i only added more disruption.
