Hi!

We are moving within 5km from a golf course. The recent study about links to golf courses and Parkinson's Disease has made me think about installing a reverse osmosis filter, since I have PD in my family. Maybe I am being overly anxious but I'll admit it makes me nervous.

I know Ottawa has some of the cleanest water. But curious if anyone has tested the water for the 3 pesticides noted in the study: glysophate, paraquat and maneb? (Bonus points if you live close to a golf course). Just trying to get a sense of if Ottawa's water treatment system removes these pesticides/herbicides.

And pardon my ignorance if this is a stupid question. I'm just beginning to learn about how a water supply can become tainted vs how effective existing treatment systems are at targeting specific compounds.

Thanks for your help
