Won’t steam [Bambino Plus]
Hey gurus and wizards, I’d appreciate any guidance on this issue I’m facing. My (new to me) [BES500bss] won’t steam in either auto or manual mode.
When I engage the steam function, it will steam for about a second with the expected force, then it shuts off and displays the lights as shown in the video.
It is not clogged. Water comes out. I have descaled. I have tried it with the tip removed.
I have heard of issues with the milk temp sensor, but since this happens in manual mode as well as auto, I believe it would be something else. Maybe a flow rate or pressure sensor that isn’t sending the proper signal back.
I am a hands on person and very willing to open this thing up and test components. Any guidance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Even just an online resource. I haven’t come across a schematic or service manual for these things. I guess I’m too accustomed to cars 😂
