I had the opportunity to buy a few 640 thermal cores off Aliexpress. Here are the results and thoughts. I will be doing a video comparison next, let me know what you would like to see.

I will be initiating a return/refund of the "false" 640s, let me know if you'd want to hear about my experience returning a "high ticket" item off AliExpress.
see what my options are to get the video "line" out.

Chengen Heat Vision Store

- HDANIEE 640X512 9MM Lens N6 series FPV Thermal Imager for FPV Drones with CVBS Interface Longwave IR 12um MicroThermal fpv Camera Module

Video quality: Something seem off, almost as if it is shot in a lower resolution, the outlines of bodies is very jagged, and video seems more "blotchy" makes me question the 640 resolution. I dont believe it meets the NETD >= 25 mk as advertised. I will be trying to return this.

---FMchip Global Store

-- FMAi 640 FPV Infrared Thermal Imager Camera 640*512 Resolution 9.1mm UART CVBS Output Infrared Night Vision Camera Module

Great resolution and detail, Looking at the wiring behind the 3D printer for comparison FMAi "larger", and Axisflying both have higher details. Very apparent when used as a stud finder the blacks are noticeably blotchier compared to the Axisflying camera

-- FMAi Infrared Thermal Imager 640 512 Resolution Drone FPV Camera 50Hz CVBS Night Vision Module for UAV

The biggest housing with exposed PCB, one of the best looking/detailed images tied with Axisflying.

CFeyModel RC Store

-- FPV Drone Thermal Imaging Camera 256/384/640 Resolution 4mm/9.1mm/9.7mm Lens CVBS Output Interface Night Vision Camera Module

They probably made a mistake and mislabeled the camera as 640, I will be returning this.

AeroGear Emporium Store

-- Axisflying New High Resolution Thermal Camera for FPV Drone Camera 640*512 OEM Mini Series CVBS Analog Interface Camera Module

Looks as good the larger housing FMAi thermal camera.
FYI the blotch on the lower right was from a "friend" that pointed it to the sun....

I hope this helps others.

Let me know what you would like to see "filmed" for a video comparison.

Modular is the latest buzz word, sometimes with varying results. I think I am on to something, as it allows more flexibility with an expensive equipment. It can be used as a personal imager, or remote imaging.
I've looked into local entrepreneur organization they seem to only be interested in supporting, after I have made a sale.

Thoughts on where I can market/sell something like this?

pat. pending
