I'm trying to help my son [homeschool high school] plan his ASU UL courses for next year. He's currently finishing BIO 130 with a low A, and he is intrigued by the set up of BIO 100 from what he's read. Wondering how BIO 100 The Living World compares to BIO 130 Environmental Science. My concern is that he's not taken a basic high school bio, and even he has said BIO 130 was mostly common sense. Would BIO 100 be doable as a first intro bio class? Can anyone who's taken both BIO 100 and 130 give me any feedback as to how they compare in their level of difficulty?
