12mo isn’t saying mama or dada

I took my 12mo to her check up today and my pediatrician said she should be using mama and dada correctly - which she is not. She babbles a lot and can say things like mama, dada, baba, baby, hi, and nana - but doesn’t use these words correctly. She’ll mimic what I say but then it’s not clicking that it means something. If she does, it’s not intentional. My pediatrician said she should be using 3 words correctly by 15mo that aren’t names like mama. Plus 16 gestures by 16mos, right now all she can do is clap, play peek-a-boo, and wave- and the waving isn’t consistent.

Does anyone have any advice for getting her on the right track?
