The Game Grumps have been great FUNNY exposure
I'll preface by saying I started Sertraline a month ago and it's made my reactions to anything vomit related a lot less extreme (but I'll still have spiralling anxiety attacks when I've convinced myself I'm going to be sick.)
I saw a post a while back on here of someone using a funny puke page of clips of people being sick in funny scenarios and how it helped them. I'm not game enough yet for that but I will say I've been watching Game Grumps on YouTube and especially their The Grumps side channel.
A lot of their content revolves around eating a lot of expired foods or over eating really disgusting things. You see a lot of gagging, a lot of the time one of them will say "I'm gonna throw up" and I've become completely desensitised to it. They'll also spit a lot of the food and drinks out and it's often directly into camera so you're seeing food coming out of someone's mouth. There was one episode that was so disgusting someone off camera very aggressively gagged, or even retched and had to leave the room and it was genuinely one of the funniest sounds I've heard in a while.
It's made non-risk puking (any puking unrelated to illness or poisoning) seem much less of a big deal and honestly is bordering on funny for me. I've still got a long way to go but I now actively seek out these videos almost as enjoyment.
I'll add that the regular Game Grumps videos are also really light exposure in that their topics of discussion and also jokes can often be disgusting and vomit related.
I'll conclude by saying while it has gotten pretty extreme, no one has visibly thrown up on the channel.
(Also as I'm trying to stick to the subreddit rules of not censoring, writing the word 'vomit' here has been a small win for me!)
