I only just started messing around with samurai dual swords a few weeks ago. With the Stone of Penance out I'm spending a lot of time in the dojo trying to better dial in combo sequences. I always say this game is making me evolve out of my decades of high-end button mashing (I only played NG on both 1 and 2 right before 3 came out).

So I started seeing how I could string combos while fluxing with both Winter Wind and Frost Moon. Oh my stars and garters. This is going to take many hours to hone this but for my personal experience it demonstrates that the deeper you go in Nioh you discover it's even deeper.

I turned off Spear Flourish when I was playing around with spear because it was messing with my rhythm but I think when I go back to a spear phase I'll turn it back on and see what I can do.

Any thoughts or advice on any of this is welcome. This game has the greatest highs and lows, I swear, but no matter how much it makes me feel like I'm the worst gamer ever, something always helps me climb out of the pit of despair.
