Hi all!

TLDR: I’m looking for an artist who could do some monster concept art for a pitch (and also potentially do the VFX, not required though). The budget is small, but I could pay a bit if the script is greenlit.

I’m a current film student and will be pitching a script to my cohort next month. The story is a creature feature horror film that takes place primarily on a beach. It is about two boyfriends who are stalked and attacked by some beach monsters.

I’m looking for a concept artist who’d be willing to make some creature concept art I could use for my pitch next month. If the project is selected for production, I would get a small budget and could at least pay a little bit for the work. Bonus if the artist could also do the VFX of the monster later this year if the script is selected (but not required).

Kia ora, all! I’m a master’s film student at Vic, and we are currently in pre-production for a short supernatural horror film. One of the scenes takes place in a house, and unfortunately the location we had lined up just fell through.

I know this is super last minute, but would anyone be willing to let us film at their house? 🙃

The script currently has scenes in a hallway, two bedrooms, living room, and kitchen (however, that could be re-written depending on house size). Our shoot day is set for May 3rd, and cast/crew would probably be there from 1 pm -10 pm or so (somewhat flexible on the time).

Since we’re a student film, we don’t have a budget, but we could offer a small koha to show our appreciation. We could also offer a crew position (unpaid, sorry) for people looking for on-set experience.
