I’m cleaning up extraneous wires on my house, which was built in 1986. the builders were obsessed with land lines, having phone jacks everywhere including the bathrooms. they.also had an ancient security system. anyway this is on the side of the house and I’d like to remove it and the wires coming from it. is it an old phone system? how do I tell if there is live power going to it?
